GUMC has been asked by Community Bible Study Leadership to be a host church for our community.
What does that mean? What is Community Bible Study?
Community Bible Study is an interdenominational opportunity for Christians to come together from all walks of life and study the word of God. The mission of Community Bible Study is “To make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth Bible study, available to all.”
The date has been set. Community Bible Study will begin using our facilities to host this wonderful opportunity each Monday evening beginning August 16th, 7:00-8:30 p.m. This is a family event, and all ages are welcome. They plan to run alongside the Greenwood School District calendar and will begin studying the Gospel of John.
Please share this exciting news with your friends and family in and around our community. This will give us an opportunity to come together as Christ-followers and grow in our knowledge and faith.
